[PCST] About a communication plan of a campaign

Dear all,

I'm a student of a post lauream university course in Science and Technology
Communication (Tor Vergata, Roma). I'm trying to write my final essay about
a communication campaign, Diversity for Life, that was launched by
Bioversity Internazional on 22th May, 2009. I have been an intern at
Bioversity Int. for almost 3 months, and in this period I have took part in
some of the campaign activities.

I have some troubles for the groundwork of a generic campaign (I "was born"
as a biologist, so I haven't any communication training): could you suggest
me something (articles, books, abstracts, blogs and so on) about a
communication plan of a campaign? just a simple brief is ok for me :)
